One of the best parks I have stayed in
I found this Caravan Park to be one of the best I have stayed in and passed that on to management before leaving. Situated in a good area it has the best tropical gardens surrounding and throughout the park. I found the amenities to be clean with good showers and washing machines. The unpowered area is small but a designated area surrounded by lush palms. A brand new camp kitchen supports visitors as well as a separate Barbque area. The privacy of this area ensured my little dog and I felt safe and secure throughout our stay. Thank you.

Would highly recommend it
I stayed in a Holiday Villa with my adult son and would highly recommend it. The Villa was spacious, beds very comfortable and the kitchenette a great size. Check in and out was super easy. We always choose to stay at Southside Holiday Village when in Rockhampton.

Good service, value for money
I love staying here when I need a place to stay in Rockhampton. The cabins are comfortable at reasonable prices, everything is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful I find this really good budget accommodation.

Lovely place to stay
The village has always had excellent service and the cabins have always been clean and tidy. They accommodated our late check in with ease. Lovely place quiet enough from the traffic and no noisy neighbours.

Well set out park close to CBD
Stayed one night on Tuesday 4th September. We stayed in a tropical villa which was clean and well looked after and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Great value as well. Close to CBD and restaurants.

This is our second visit to Southside Holiday Village, it is a lovely tidy, clean & well kept park. We have extended our stay here this time twice, the office staff have been very friendly & have happily moved sites around to allow us to stay on our current site.
The amenities are always clean & tidy. If your are a member of the Top Parks club you get a discount, which makes this Parks Fees very reasonable. We would happily return.

Friendly and very helpful staff. Cleanliness of cabin was great. Furnishings and bed were comfortable and adequate for our purposes. Bathroom was clean and well equipped...Ideal for a good nights sleep...

Beautiful place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay, the cabins were very clean and comfortable. This was one of the best places we stayed at while traveling to Cairns. We would definitely recommend it and we would stay there again without a doubt. Staff were very friendly as we only arrived at 10.30pm at night, they were very helpful. It was also very quiet.

Great cabins and pool
What a great find this park is!! Huge spacious 2br cabin we stayed in. One of the cleanest I've come across. The pool was spotlessly clean and so was the whole park. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Rockhampton

Every time we go to Rocky to visit family, we stay at Southside Caravan Park. The staff are always friendly, the cabins are always clean - and air conditioned, a necessity in Rocky! The pool is great too, we go for a swim every day.

This park was great
After a long drive from Bowen this park was great, we were given a drive through so we didn’t have to unhitch the trailer and car from the RV because we were only there for one night! Amenities were clean, we liked it there.

Will stay here again next time
Booked online for just $93. Wasn't expecting high end , but boy what a nice surprise. Those cabins are excellent value for money. Very clean , tidy and looks like fairly modern bathroom/kitchen. Quite spacious , nice pool to cool off in and very helpful friendly reception staff !! Will stay here again next time am in Rocky !
